New Yankees Stadium is Tough for Autography Hounds (From the NYTIMES)

Not sure if anyone out there got to read this (or you sees the New York Times online), but it’s certainly worth a read.

It’s a shame that with the New Yankee Stadium, they (in many aspects) have forgotten about the fans. And I don’t blame the players for that, I blame the fans.

Waiting outside the players entrance at the old Yankees stadium was one of the novelties that made the stadium wonderful, and also kept the players and the fans interaction (whether they wanted to or not…too bad, deal with it). Sometimes it seems to me that the players and management forget how much it means to children to meet or see a Yankee.
